this global catastrophe of epic proportion has taught us many new things which
will be the new norms of the future way of living.

way for the latest disruptor LAAS - LIFE AS A SERVICE after TASS –
TRANSPORTATION AS A SERVICE following SAAS which is by now well known.
Here is
an excellent idea for a new global order of business & economy, what I call
Life-as-a-Service (LaaS) that can change the lives of masses of the whole
world. This is a revolutionary new concept of Life process re-engineering in
the post-COVID-19 era with the optimisation of resources with the appropriate
use of the relevant vast array of emerging technologies.
Life for
everyone starts at HOME, the citadel where members of the family live, grow and
rejuvenate in the realm of love & emotion longing for eternal peace.
And the
family is the first building block of the Society.
All the
economic activities start from meeting the requirements of the family whether
it is in cities, towns or villages.

the family, the Husband/wife goes to work in places like farms, factories,

First,
towards the requirement of residential accommodation, we try to follow the
evolutionary process of the problem of housing over the centuries.
In
agrarian societies, the masses used to live in villages in simple hutments.

the years, due to loss of per capita income resulting from the fragmentation of
landholdings among an increasing number of family descendants led to the
migration of population to urban industrial centres in the search of a new
source of livelihood.
Most of
the industrial centres, in the beginning, had dedicated family quarters close
to the factory sites. But as the townships grew, there started a
haphazard growth of housing conglomerations with negligible required
infrastructure.
Gradually,
urban housing has become a big problem all over the industrial world. Very
little socially relevant affordable housing schemes are found. Mostly the real
estate sector runs in a disorganised manner in most parts of the world &
builders’ lobby is very powerful in almost any country. Urban land is always in
short supply; there is a huge unholy nexus between politicians, builders and
the underworld. As a result, common citizens find it very difficult to own a
house/flat and more so to rent a place as the prices are sky-rocketing
everywhere.
Financing
also is not easy and there is a cost & time overrun in almost all projects
leading to extreme harassment to citizens.
Even if
somebody buys an accommodation in a certain locality of a city, there is no guarantee
that his / her next lucrative job will be easily accessible from his owned
place. Also, if there is a better job opportunity in another city, he/ she have
to pack everything and relocate.
All the
points are taken into consideration, for many people it will be a good option

LaaS
starts with this new concept of FLEXIHOMES whose features are:

These are situated in a cluster
containing 500 units of studio apartments.
2.
Each studio apartment is having a
carpet area of around 300sf.
3.
Each studio will have 10’x22’
living/bedroom, 6’x8’ Bathroom/Toilet, 4’x5’ Kitchenette/passage, 4’x3’Balcony.

If someone needs more space, they
can get two/three attached studios with inside connected doors like in the
adjacent hotel rooms.

Furniture: 1 double (wall folded)
Murphy bed with side tables, 1 folding Study table, 1 glass top centre table,
3-door Wardrobe with attached Dresser, 32” LED TV, Stereo Music System, 175
Litre fridge, Microwave & Split A/C, Modular Kitchenette with Induction
heater & Electric kettle. Toilet will have centrally supplied hot &
cold RO quality water with Exhaust fan. All electrical wirings are concealed.

The apartments will be in a
multi-storied building (G+5) with 100 flats in 5 wings per floor
(2x8
+ 2x8 + 2x18 + 2x8 + 2x8)

The floors will be served by 4
lifts and 2 staircases placed in between the wings.

The Ground floor & Roof of the
building are common areas to be utilised for Community Kitchen, Dining Rooms,
Laundry, Covered area for kids’ crèche, Mini Junior School, Yoga centre cum
Mini Theatre hall, Utility Store etc.

Ground-level open space will have
open-air sports facilities and swimming pool in a well maintained natural
environment with plants & decorative flower beds. Also, there will be a
Kennel for pets. Walking pathways will be laid in a way to give the whole

covered by Solar panels with a roof garden for evening dinner parties &

purchase daily family requirements as everything required for prepared food

part is nobody buys the apartments but it is on Service charge like a

own the flat and the rent they pay goes to the same Company where they can
invest their available savings i.e they are the owners themselves.

1.
Anybody wanting to participate in the program has to pay around US$.1000/-
towards the share of the parent Ownership Company.
2. Say a
furnished flat cost US$.40,000 which a person selects to live in. Then
annually he has to pay to say 6% means US$.2400 towards the rent for the flat.
The other maintenance fees will have to be paid extra according to the location
& country. The rent goes to the same ownership company of which he is a
shareholder.
3. If he
can make some personal savings after paying the rent & meeting his
household & other family expenses, he can deposit the same with the Company
at the end of the year which will reduce the rent next year what he has to pay,
Say, he manages to deposit US$.4,000/- then next the year he has to pay 6% of
US$ (40,000-4,000) i.e 6% of US$.36,000 towards the rent. The best part is his
saving remains liquid and therefore, easily accessible for any emergency.

JUST MOVE IN WITH THEIR SUITCASES AND START LIVING IN AN AREA/CITY OF THEIR
CHOICE AND LIVE THERE AS LONG AS THEY WANT BY PAYING A REASONABLE RENT. And, it
